Orange Cosmos is a radiant summer annual that adds a splash of bright colour and movement to the garden. With vivid orange blooms rising high on slender stems, these flowers dance above soft, fern-like foliage and create an airy, elegant presence. They are highly attractive to pollinators like bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, making them a perfect addition to pollinator and cut flower gardens alike. The long-lasting blossoms make beautiful arrangements and the plants thrive with minimal care, even in dry conditions.

Where Can You Grow Orange Cosmos?
Well suited to Zones 3–9, Orange Cosmos thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. Ideal for flower beds, borders, containers, or naturalised areas where colour and pollinator activity are desired.

History and Historical Uses
Native to Mexico and Central America, Cosmos sulphureus has long been cherished for its brilliant colours and easy-going nature. Grown in cottage gardens, meadows, and flower farms for generations, its popularity has endured thanks to its adaptability and beauty. Though not typically used for culinary or medicinal purposes, it remains a beloved ornamental.
